AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Tripura Central University attracting unwanted national media headlines due to its Vice Chancellor Dharulkar’s organized corruption racket of collecting 10% commission on all stationary supplies, printing press. VC Dharulkar’s massive scam was exposed by a Bengali news-channel “News Vanguard” by an exclusive video-footage’s revelation which created turmoil in the society, shows the VC is demanding 10% commission from the printer and also doing all transactions in cash. VC Dharulkar changed Tripura University’s study-method and recruitment method and brought various unqualified guest lecturers. Earlier, generally NET/P.hd were not only asked as eligibility of a professor aspirant candidate but in addition this university sought few years experiences in Colleges.

But under Dharulkar various unqualified people were given responsibility as lecturers and the recent example is Moti Kapoor who ended by attacking newspaper office and High Court judge. There are more appointments by the VC which needs to be inspected by the Govt as in journalism dept he appointed Biswendu Bhattacharjee who reportedly does not have any experience of teaching in College neither have NET, SET or P.hd.

Thus, damaging Tripura Central University’s reputation VC VL Dharkrkar has gone but at the same time he has sunk the state’s national ranking.

After Tripura University Vice Chancellor Vijaykumar Laxmikantrao Dharurkar was exposed for his Printing scam which shows the VC is grabbing share of University project funds with 10% Commission in a sting operation by local TV channel “News Vanguard” the VC has reportedly resigned. At 6 pm prof Sangram Sinha has taken the charges of VC. Earlier also various allegations came against the Vice Chancellor recently. The University has dropped its position under this VC.

The latest scam was exposed first time by a  local News Channel named “News Vanguard” which has exposed the VC in an exclusive operation where VC is demanding 10% commission from the University’s one of the printing project. It has been shown that VC operates these transactions directly in cash, which itself is a big scam.

The main question why the transaction should be in cash, by not maintaining transparency.

VC in this secret operation is asking Surendra Shethia, the contractor of printing works of the University 10% commission from the work. This video released by “News Vanguard” named Operation-White-Collar has created turmoil in the University and now public are demanding suspension and punishment of the Vice Chancellor.
