AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing on the ‘Mega Poshan Utsav -2019’ programme at Majlishpur, Jirania said that Crime against Women is the most condemnable crime of the world and it should not be linked with politics.
“I would be happy if my opposition friends had talked how to curb crime against women and why a mother is bound to sell child in this state but alas, they (opposition) used such crimes to defame my Govt with political motive”, said CM.
Crime against women and law and order issue was raised by CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury in the Assembly and opposition also walked out of the Assembly on Day-1.
“Me, my party, our Prime Minister nobody supports crime against women. World witnessed, whoever have tortured women in this earth, they have been destroyed”, said Deb citing example from tortures on Sita which destroyed Ravana in Ramayana and tortures on Drupadi destroyed Kouravs in Mahabharata
CM stated, crime against women is the most hated crime and he has no word to slam such criminals.
