AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Sep 2 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb after the Assembly Day 3 addressing media announced that Govt of Tripura has now focused to make various “smokehouses” district-wise and will focus on the speedy completion of the project.

Addressing media, CM Biplab Deb said, “Tripura’s rubber market is down it is not totally appropriate to answer rather we have to focus on the quality of the manufacturing. Tripura makes synthetic rubber but this kind of rubber has less value whereas Tripura’s rubber has quality but should be manufactured properly”.

“Normally rubbers are kept here not in proper manner but smoke houses should be made for the rubber sheets drying. Openly under the sun , they are affected by also rain or other elements of the nature. In this way proper quality, colours of rubber does not come. Once smoke house is built then no more problem will remain regarding the quality of rubber sheets”, Deb told media.

“It is not that Tripura didn’t have smoke houses but Govt will be giving loans for it. So, Govt is working for quality of rubber production”, he said.

“Once smoke house is made then automatically incomes of rubber gardeners will be raised. Tripura’s rubber production and profit will be like Kerala”, CM said.
