AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Naba Jagaran Club in Agartala has observed ‘Khuti Puja’ keeping the upcoming Durga puja ahead.

It is a tradition that before Durga puja pandal making works beginning, there should be a traditional ritual named “Khuti puja” where the foundation of the pandal gets worshipped.

This year Durga puja is from October 4 to October 8. Durga puja is the 4 days long festival of Bengalis but in Tripura regardless indigenous people and Bengali people all are united centering this festival.
