AGARTALA, Aug 31 (TIWN): Former Health Minister of BJP Govt’s cabinet Sudip Roy Barman on Friday in the Assembly asked the State Govt to return all moneys to the victims of chitfund who had deposited once in those chit fund companies under the Left Govt’s regime.
Barman also reminded the Govt that in the Vision Document this particular issue was promised that by selling all properties of the Chit Fund all depositors will be given back their lost moneys in those chit fund companies.
In reply, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Deb Barman said that Tripura Govt has strictly remembered what it promised in the Vision Document.
This comment from the former Health Minister came when State Govt under High Court’s order handed over Rose Valley headquarter building in Agartala to the Urban Development Dept.
Sudip Roy Barman was removed from cabinet from 31st May, 2019 for his alleged anti-party activity.
