Poor man commits suicide in Govt office after allegedly failed to bribe officer to get license

AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): One daily worker Nandu Das has committed suicide at Govt Forest Office in Dharmanagar.
This has come in various media and social media reports.
Allegation raised, after he failed to give Rs. 50000 bribe to get a license from the office he committed suicide.
He wanted to start a wood-business but for that license was needed and the DFO allegedly demanded Rs. 50000 for that.
Today again Nandu came to the office for license but after not getting it, in the office premise he consumed poison and died.
Victim’s family members demanded CM Biplab Deb’s interference in this matter.
