AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Former CPI-M Minister who was interrogated by Vigilance team today as witnesses of few cases has directly sought the files about which they are talking about.

“Our Govt did various works, uncountable works. Now suddenly if you ask me about 10 years old issue, how can I relate now. So give me those papers’ copies first”, Badal Choudhury said Vigilance team while being interrogated. After interrogation, Choudhury said this while briefing before media.

According to Badal Choudhury’s statement, when the officers asked him about a decision of the Finance Dept in 2008 and according to it what construction works were done, Badal Choudhury asked the officers to give him Dept’s papers/ files of that year so that he can go through the details. He also asked the Vigilance team to call all officials together of that time so that the overall report they can get.
