Agartala, Oct 25 (TIWN): Ahead of Co-operative Banking Week, Tripura State Co-operative Bank (TSCB) affiliated a banking counter was inaugurated at the primary agriculture co-operative samity house in Kashipur under West Tripura district, here today. The Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly- Pabitra Kar inaugurated the banking counter.

The programme was presided over by the president of primary agriculture co-operative samity, Kashipur- Adhir Mohan Datta. The president of Tripura State Co-operative Bank Limited- Haripada Chakraborty graced the dais as chief guest while the Councilor of ward no 17- Dhaneswar Das and vice-president of Tripura State Co-operative Bank- Nepal Das attended the inaugural ceremony as special guests.

During the inaugural ceremony, the co-operative comptroller- Krishna Dulal Chowdhury and Managing Director of Tripura State Co-operative Bank Limited- Swapan Kumar Saha were remained present as guests of honour.

Meanwhile, the loan portfolio of TSCB covers Crop Loans, Medium Term Loans and Long Term Loans for Agricultural purposes, Employees Cooperative Credit Societies and other Societies. TSCB is also extending finance to many Apex Cooperative institutions in the State.
