AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): A crucial meeting of Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Deputy CM cum Power Minister Jishnu Deb Barman was held today at the Secretariat with high Govt officials along with TSECL employees.

There were long discussion about power-cut problems and the upcoming works. Biplab Deb on yesterday announced that next 7 days should be like emergency situation for Electric dept.

This meeting was conducted followed by Sunday’s massive load-shedding problem in the city matching the same load-shedding hours with many places of the state which created law and order situational problem and mob attacked various power houses across state.

During the meeting 24X7 helpline’s opening instruction has been given by the Chief Minister.

The Police Dept has started investigation aimed submit a report within 7 days to the CM about Sunday's incident.
