AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): Tripura Rubber Plantation Board would celebrate Golden Jubilee at Pragna Bhawan on October 29. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar would inaugurate the programme while the Chairman of Rubber Board Dr. A. Jayathilak would preside over the function. Rubber Plantation activity in Tripura started during 1963 and 50 years has completed.

Tripura Rubber board offical visited TIWN office today and invited TIWN to Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The key note address will be delivered by the former Rubber Production Commissioner, Executive Director IL&FS  Dr. A.K. Krishnakumar. Besides, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will present best RPS award and will release souvenir during the celebration of Golden Jubilee.

Chief Secretary G.K Rao will present the best rubber grower award. Chief Executive Member of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC)  Dr. Ranjit Debbarma, Deputy Speaker Of Tripura Legislative Assembly  Pabitra Kar, Principle Secretary of Industries Department  Lok Ranjan would attend the function .
