AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): By force, police were asked to change statement in a case at Kailshahar after BJP activists gheraoed women police’s vehicle.

There were two cases against BJP 6 members filed in last week centering poll violence at Kailashahar in Unakoti District.

Police were trying to investigate the case, but BJP activists forced them on road by blocking and to remove the accused persons’ names and to add BJP activists’ statement.

Infact they forced police for what they will submit in the court.

It has generated huge resentment and signifies the ‘lawless era’ and the deteriorating power of cops in the state.
