Agartala, Oct 23 (TIWN): The closing ceremony of World Wildlife Week will be conducted at Sipahijala wildlife sanctuary tomorrow. Tripura Forest Minister- Naresh Jamatiw would inaugurate the closing ceremony while Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha would grace the dais as chief guest.

With an aim to laying importance on safety of wild animals, the first week of October month every year observed as World Wild Animal Week.

To mark the observance of this week, various events were conducted including sin and draw competition, quiz competition, debate competition and marathon race.

As part of the week-long programme, a mega health camp was also organized on October 19. Altogether 135 patients were treated free of cost and free medicines were provided among them.
