AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Congress State President Pradyot Deb Barman and Congress spokesperson Harekrishna Bhowmik said that Congress will become main opposition party in Tripura once Panchayat election results will be declared.
“BJP has already by force taken away 86% seats, but in the remaining 14% seats, Congress will do good results, far better than CPI-M. CPI-M will become third and Congress will be second”, said Harekrishna Bhowmik.
Bhowmik, added message for BJP that it was not the “Last Election” and challenged CPI-M that it is going to lose its ground.
Addressing media, Pradyot Deb Barman criticized the Govt for damaging the poll enthusiasm. He said, “Public have shown ‘No Interest’ for Vote in Tripura, whereas the same public always were eager to cast votes either it’s Lok Sabha or Assembly election”.
