AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): Maharani Tulsibari Girls H.S. School students organized an awareness rally on Water Conservation today at Agartala.
The students were accompanied by their teachers while marching on Agartala streets.
A huge number of participants along with teachers walked the rally holding banners of mass awareness on water conservation.
Tripura’s various areas are also suffering due to water crisis problems, specially drinking water. But there is no development in human behavior while wasting water.
This new movement has been appreciated and also joined by Tripura’s three more ongoing movements ‘Clean Tripura’, ‘Green Tripura’, ‘Plastic Free Tripura’ led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb.
Water conservation includes all the policies, strategies and activities to sustainably manage the natural resource of fresh water, to protect the hydrosphere, and to meet the current and future human demand. Population, household size, and growth and affluence all affect how much water is used.
