AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Disciplinary action has been taken against Deputy Director of Horticulture Krishanu Chakraborty, THAS-III, Unakoti District.

There is scam allegations against the Dept and Govt constituted a vigilance committee to probe that.

Inspite of prior information about the committee’s visit in the office, only two officers remained present and without any leave application Krishnendu Chakraborty, DDH and few more officials remained absent.

Due to the absent of the officials, the verification could not be done to the alleged scam.

However, it has been made clear by the committee that the bills were settled without proper certification.

Spotting financial irregularities and indiscipline activities, Govt is proceeding with disciplinary actions.

It has been ordered that Krishanu Chakraborty will not leave police headquarter without prior permission from the Governor.
