AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): The Chief Minister's office in Tripura has called for names of students with annual family income less than rupees three lakh and want to study nursing in GNM and ANM category for the ongoing academic year.
“Two seats, one each in GNM and ANM, are available under the CM quota from the North East Institute of Nursing Science (NEINS), Agartala and to be filled up through lottery, if number of applicants are more than two”, said an official.
Students who passed Class-XII Board Examination current year from recognized boards, preferably from science stream, and with the minimum requisite qualification mark of 40 percentage for General candidates and 35 percentage for ST & SC candidates may apply to the OSD to CM, Secretariat, New Capital Complex, Agartala with all relevant documents including income certificate by 15 August 2019.
These two seats were offered by NEINS, Agartala to the CM and tuition fees for the students admitted under the CM quota in NEINS, Agartala will be totally free. The CM has decided that instead of allotting these seats to his close or known candidates dedicate them for the poorer section of people and for their upliftment.
