64 candidates cracked NET/SET examinations from Tripura University

AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): A great achievement of Tripura University students in the academic the year 2018-19. In this year a total of 64 candidates from various departments (including Journalism, Commerce, Library Science, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Bengali, Geography, English and others) have cracked the NET/SET examination conducted by University Grant Commission and North-East SLET Commission. This is a sharp rise in the number of qualified candidates from the past few years as revealed by the data provided by the office of the Statistical Officer of Tripura University.

Prof. V. L. Dharurkar, Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University congratulated the candidates who have qualified the national level examinations and said that this will give a big opportunity to those students for further expansion of their knowledge through research and job opportunity in the College and Universities across the country. Hard work always pays off, notably, the Tripura University is conducting the coaching classes on every Saturday and Sunday in the University campus for the NET/SET aspirants through the Equal Opportunity Cell. And this is the outcome of such nourishment that Tripura University is giving to its students. Tripura University stands for Pursuit of Excellence and it will remain dedicated to nurturing the students for the achievement of academic excellence in their respective fields.
