AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): As BJP has started massive membership drive in Tripura and claimed for receiving huge responses, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has also joined the drive.

On being asked by media why CM himself has joined in membership drive, he replied, “I am first a kariyakarta and then a leader. I want to give a message to my kariyakartas and leaders that at first they should complete their works and leaderships always come later”.

Talking to media, BJP membership collectors on ground said that at least 6 lakhs members are expected from Tripura.

On last Friday Chief Minister Biplab Deb delivered speech before BJP kariyakartas instructing how to increase membership drive.
