AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): A 3 and half years child has been shot-dead in Tripura, died at GB hospital, allegedly without treatment.
Local newspapers in Tripura have directly alleged, GB hospital’s failure and lack of infrastructure, knowledge and expertise led the child to suffer with the bullet inside its head for 3 hours since he was referred in GB. It has been claimed in the reports, if the bullet could be removed, the child could survive.
Sokrai Koloi (6), Son of Chandan Koloi at Ampinagar Salbagan area was shot by unknown people.
At evening 5 pm the child was brought in GB hospital. It has been confirmed that without any treatment at 8.30 pm he succumbed to his injuries.
Illegal uses of pistols in that area occurred many incidents earlier.
