AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Agartala city to have 16 town buses and from August 1st week 2 buses will be introduced, TRTC chairman Alik Majumder said in a press conference on Tuesday.

On Tuesday 8 buses were functioned in trial run in 2 routes.

Battala to Ranir Bazar and Tripura Central University to GB, these two routes will start functioning.

After each 15 minutes buses will come, just like big cities buses function.

Tripura CM Biplab Deb earlier said that traffic management is the first step for smart city projects.
