AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Now bureaucrats are in Green Tripura movement as Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s OSD Sanjay Mishra along with other officials celebrated Van Mahotsave at his Agartala residence in Kunjaban township, near-Shamli Bazar) on Tuesday. It was done on the special occasion of Sanjay Mishra's birthday.

 This move was a part of Chief Minister’s "Clean Tripura & Green Tripura" mission, which has kicked off since June month at full wave. More than 50 plants were planted. 

Tripura is environmental friendly for almost all kinds of plants but due to massive deforestation, the environment is under threat, cause losses of rains in few parts of the state.

The Govt has started taking initiative to mitigate the environmental gap and urged whole state to participate in plantation drives which has influenced even school children.

As a part of “Green Tripura” movement, OSD Sanjay Mishra has organized this programme at his residence, participated by huge numbers of people.

OSD Sanjay Mishra has delivered a message to the state people to be nature friendly and to promote greeneries in coming days.
