Allegation against Doctors’ negligence, hospital-wide Doctors’ shortage hit Health Service in Tripura

AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Multiple allegations are coming against Govt hospital doctors in Tripura, whereas many hospitals are suffering from doctors’ shortage.

TIWN covered an exclusive news from Gachiram Para PHC where only one doctor is appointed who has to visit the camps of Brus as well as take care of the hospital. Also rural areas’ PHCs are suffering from acute power cut problems. Report came that in the GB hospital on yesterday power cut created chaos.

At the same time, allegations of wrong treatment, negligence of duty have  become everyday issues.

FIR has been lodged against at least 3 Tripura Doctors due to negligence in their duties. The three doctors are : 1) Kajal Das, Pradip Jamatia, Tani Bhattacharjee.

The doctors are from Gomati district hospital, where day to day wrong treatment allegation flashes with news headlines.The FIR was lodged under Section 304A after one pregnant lady Soma Nama Das died.

Doctors denied her as pregnant and gave wrong medicine allegedly and after sometime she suffered from breathing problem and died.Her husband, who is a Govt employee Biswajit Das has filed a case against 3 doctors. However, nobody was arrested so far.

In this week one more same allegation came after an accident patient died due to alleged wrong treatment.
