AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): In a setback for consumers, amid power crisis problems, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) has announced to increase power charge soon.
TSECL said that in last 4 years power charges were not increased which has been troubling the department with massive debts, Chairman of TSECL Kele Murhari Sopanrao said.
Thus TSECL is going to increase electricity prices. This decision was taken, even after Deputy CM cum Power Minister Jishnu Dev Barman said Tripura has no electricity shortage.
Tripura is undergoing massive load-shedding problems right now.
