AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Assam Rifles conducted an Anti-Malaria campaign and workshop in conjunction with District Hospital at Gandacherra High School Ground on 05 July 2019.

A total number of 90 villagers from remote areas attended the workshop. Preventive measures like not allowing mosquito breeding in vicinity, use of mosquito nets etc were discussed. People were also advised to seek medical assistance in case of fever. Assam Rifles has been assisting the civil administration in fighting the malaria menace by providing basic health and hygiene services to the people in remote areas.

This humane and selfless gesture was appreciated by the locals and the civil administration.
