AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing in a programme at his own constituency Banamalipur on Sunday, has warned the Govt employees to work in dedicated manner so that offices can function smoothly and public can rely upon them.
Deb said, at every 3 months, Chief Minister will conduct a review meeting and if the employees can not satisfy the needs, then they will be sent to voluntary retirement.
“From Chief Secretary to Group-D, everyone’s performance is important for a Govt. So, if you (officials) are not interested to serve the people, then take retirement”.
CM also cited example of dedicated workers as linemen and electric dept’s lower division workers who are working hard even though they are yet to be recognized as Govt employee.
“Employees are part of Govt. They only represent a Govt. On the other side, a CM also amongst the public or common men. Thus, it’s important that everyone should give his/her best while in duty”, said deb.
