AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Once upon a time, Bamboo industries in Tripura was state’s pride and along with abroad also locally huge bamboo productions were sold, used by people house to house.

But in last a decade, bamboo industry became a centre of corruption due to Govt’s negligence.

However, the Govt has focused on bamboo industry development which not only return Tripura’s glory of handicraft but also it’s good for environment in compare to rubber like polluting industries.

Bamboo Mission works to make Tripura as the hub of bamboo based sustainable  micro, small and medium industries in the country by mobilizing the local natural and human resources and enable structured growth in the sector by strong institution building and market linkage.

Outsider investors may get these benefits from Tripura Bamboo Mission.
