AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): Reshufflings in Tripura Police Dept continues under the new BJP government. Earlier, various national media reported that the previous DGP A K Shukla was forced to go in long leave and after that reshuffling of police officials continue in the state. Total 31 IPS and TPS officers were transferred in Tripura in two separate notifications. DIGP (Home Guard) Uttam Kumar Majumder has taken charge as DIG of Training and DIG Gourab Chakraborty is now posted as DIG (Home Guard). DIG (AP) Anish Prasad was posted as DIG headquarters with additional charge of DIG (AP). IPS officer Sarswati Rao was removed from the SP (Cyber Crime) and AIG headquarters and has taken charge as Principal of CTI.

Dhalai SP and Sepahijala SP-Sudipta Das and Kulwant Singh have been removed from Dhalai and Sepahijala districts respectively.  Sudipta Kar is now AIG headquarters and Kulwant Singh (IPS) is the SP of Serious Crime.

Krishnendu Chakaraborty is now SP of Sepahijala and Kishore Debbarma is SP of Dhalai.

Sharmistha Chakraborty has been made as SP(Cyber Crime). Raju Reang, a TPS officer has been posted as SDPO, NCC replacing Justin Joseph while Raju Tripura who has now made new SPO of Ampi and Sankar Chandra Das is the new SDPO of Khowai.

Also a major reshuffle was done at the OC level. West Agartala PS OC-Subrata Chakraborty was posted in Amtali OC.

On yesterday, including 11 police station OCs, total 17 police officers were transferred in Tripura.

Also inspectors and sub-inspectors are transferred according to the list.

The transferred police officers are : 1) Inspr Ratan Mani Debbrama, 2) Inspr Kishore C Uchai, 3) Inspr Swapan Dennarma, 4) Inspr Arunodoy Das, 5) Inspr Babul Das, 6) Inspr Pranab Sengupta, 7) Inspr Pranab Debnath, 8) Inspr Milan Dutta, 9) Inspr Bicon Debbarma, 10) Inspr Subrata Barman, 11) Inspr Kamalkar Choudhury, 12) Inspr Kamal Krishna Koloi, 13) SI Asish Sarkar, 14) SI Himadri Sarkar, 15) SI Subhransu Bhattacharjee, 16) SI Syamsankar Reang, 17) SI Krishnadhan Sarkar.
