AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): It has become almost a trend that everyday here and there arms smugglers are being nabbed concerning state’s law and order.

The arms are bring imported from various countries, including Myanmar and recently on from Japan.

On June 21, 3 arms dealers were arrested by Tripura Police under PR Bari Police Station on yesterday late-night.

According to the information collected, 2 Japanese pistol, 10 rounds of cartridges, 6 mobiles were seized from the arms dealers.

Police found this from a vehicle bearing number TR01BD-0229  at the area of PR Bari PS.

The 3 arrested persons are : 1) Biman Das, resident of South Ramnagar, 2) Mrinal Dutta of Bhagalpur, 3) Ranjan Das of Bamutia.
