Closed 20 schools in Tripura to be given in private hands

AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Teachers crisis, students crisis had led 20 schools in Tripura to be shutdown.
However, the BJP led State Govt has decided to open these schools via private hands.
Addressing in a press conference, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the private authorities have to follow the Education laws strictly.
For next 5 years, the schools have been allowed to use the ‘readymade’ infrastructure which were earlier invested by Govt of Tripura.
Tripura has 147 schools where numbers of students are less than 10. Out of them 20 schools have been selected to serve the purpose.
