Minister Mebar Jamatia denies IPFT’s role in BJP MP’s house attack

GANDACHERA (Tripura), June 16 (TIWN): IPFT Minister Mebar Kumar Jamatia has declined the role of IPFT in BJP MP Rebati Tripura’s house attack.

Also the Minister reportedly said, there was no such event indeed.

Noteworthy, BJP and IPFT are aligned to the power, holding a Govt but every month there are certain disturbance, fighting among two party members.

A violent attack took place at newly election MP of Tripura Rebati Tripura’s home on Friday midnight left his relatives injured in his absence and the MP blamed IPFT for that.

Rebati Tripura’s brother in law’s car was broken, boundary walls and all items outside the main rooms were destroyed. Charan Tripura, Subhankar Debnath (BJP activists) who were insideRebati Tripura’s home were injured.

Police came after 45 minutes but the situation went out of control till then.To control the situation, police started firing on air which generated tension across the area. It took more than 30 minutes to normalize the situation.

Both injured BJP workers Charan Tripura, Subhankar Debnath were hospitalized. Charan Tripura’s situation is critical, referred to GB. 

Centering the incident, on yesterday at Gandachera massive clash occurred and internet was suspended to control the situation.
