AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): A section of Tripura police mostly in officer level have increased their properties abnormally in last 10 years.

Govt of Tripura has started investigation against these officers, against whom corruption allegations have come. Most of them were counted having nexus with drug empire led the state into massive narcotic reel. In the list of the corrupt cops, police station’s OC, District SP and DSPs’ names have also recorded. It includes TSR, Women Police too but the names have not been disclosed yet. Home Dept has prepared a list of corrupt officers, said a report. The BJP Govt assumed power in 2018, March 9.
