NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): ‘Hacking free EVM machines are myths’, an Article which shaken the Indian electoral system and Election Commission of India (ECI) has been time to time denied such allegations, but experts came in the field demonstrated many times how Indian EVM machines can be used for “vote theft”. American computer scientists proved that electronic voting systems can be manipulated bot by a single way but in a variety of ways. On January 2019, A US-based man today made sensational but unsubstantiated claims regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMS) that are used in Indian elections. The man, who claimed to have been involved in designing the EVMs are used in India, claimed that the 2014 Lok Sabha elections were rigged. The man addressed a press conference in London where he claimed that many political parties in India were aware about how EVMs could be hacked. However EC denied that too. But the doubt EC strengthened when it denied 100% VVPAT slip counting.

With all these, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee denied to attend any programme or meeting of the Central Govt and she firmly believes that votes were theft.

It can be noted here, Delhi Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam on June 8 alleged that the BJP winning as many seats as predicted by its president Amit Shah hinted at an "EVM scam".

Gautam was speaking at a protest organised by the Samvidhan Bachao Sangharsh Samiti against what it called "rigging" of electronic voting machines in the recent Lok Sabha election.

"The media had said BJP wount not get more than 150 seats and NDA would not get more than 200 seats. The fact that BJP got the same number of seats as predicted by Amit Shah hints at an EVM scam. It is a matter of shame," the AAP minister alleged.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won over 350 seats in the Lok Sabha polls. The BJP alone won 303 seats.
