Yaba tablets worth Rs. 4.80 lakhs seized from Indo-Bangla border at Boxonagar

BOXONAGAR, June 9 (TIWN): 960 numbers of yaba tablets were seized by BSF at the Indo-Bangla border in Boxonagar.
The worth of the seized items has been measured as Rs. 4.80 lakhs.
A lady was seen at around 4 pm on yesterday at Boxonagar’s Batadola border area throwing fencings of the border.
While challenged by BSF troops, she escaped from the spot, could not be caught, but the tablets were seized and handedover to Sonamura PS.
BSF HQ has expressed concerns over increasing lady employees in smuggling.
