AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Internet users have slammed Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath for his claim on 3000 jobs unemployed youths got in 1474 industries which have been settled downed in the state in last 1 year and 5 months. The data was given by Ratan Lal Nath after a cabinet meeting held on yesterday at the Secretariat. As soon as Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) has published the statement of the Minister, unemployed youths have hit the Minister with various questions. They said, ‘Where do the industries locate ?’, ‘ Kindly publish that Industry-list Mr.Ratan Lal Nath ji’, ‘How it is possible to run the industry with only 2 person 1474*2=2948’, ‘3000 youths for 1400+ industries! On an average 2 to 3 person per industry or 2.03’ and many asked whether these are so called “paan shops” which were suggested by the Chief Minister recently ? However, Ratan Lal Nath said that the recruitment of 3000 employees at the primary stage whereas in coming days it will increase more.

Ratan Lal Nath's statement also has been published in daily newspapers. Ratan Lal Nath is the Education Minister and also holding the Law dept.

Tripura right now tops in unemployment with highest percentage of 30.2% according to CMIE report. Centering the election season, the unemployment rate has increased more.

Govt of Tripura has however moved to ease the industrialization, announced special relaxation for the interested industrialists.

Ratan Lal Nath said, special relaxation will be given to them who have interest to start hotel-tourism and private hospitals.Also there will be relaxations in case of bank loans, power connectivity, SGST.

Along with national toll of unemployment rate, tension is heaviest in state Tripura as consistently Tripura has scored as topper in the unemployment rate. The most concerned matter is that Tripura’s unemployment rate which was 24.6% in April month according CMIE report, in May month it has shot up to 30.2%. Under the previous Leftist Govt also unemployment rate was highest but it was limited at 11%. According to May, 2019’s data of CMIE Chandigarh, Haryana’s names come in the unemployment list after Tripura at 18%.

Tension also erupted as amid massive unemployment ongoing in Tripura, Govt of India has released data that the unemployment rate is increasing at the national level without a pause and 6.1% which is indeed highest in last 45 years. However, with the new cabinet formation usher of hope is there that there will certain solutions in coming days. The GDP rate has fallen below China. According to Central Statistics Office (CSO) it has been revealed that GDP growth during 2018-19 fiscal stood at 6.8 per cent, lower than 7.2 per cent in the previous financial year.
