AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): One Bivash Das was critically injured in post poll violent attack on the opposition allegedly by ruling BJP at Teliamura.

Bivash was taken to ILS hospital for treatment. The miscreants also had taken away Rs. 38000 from the house. The incident took place on 23rd May, on the day of Election result.

The incident took place when Bivash Das along with family members were watching TV that all of a sudden miscreants in the midnight at around 1 am attacked his home.

They vandalized everything in the house, snatched important things including cash Rs. 38000.

An FIR has been lodged at the local police station.

Congress is moving Supreme Court demanding compensation for the victimized families.
