AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President on Tuesday while addressing from AICC Headquarter asked media to focus on the Northeast states with equal importance like other states as these are also bordering states and foreign intrusion’s threats are very much existing across Northeast India.
Pradyot Manikya said that disruption in law and order in Tripura will benefit only the foreign elements and those who want to destroy India’s integrity and development.
He also raised concern about the long exiting smuggling culture on Tripura borders saying, bad people just keep of changing party colour just to continue their illegal activities and action from ruling Govt.
Pradyot added, if bordering states like Tripura are not safe and peaceful, this is not good for the whole country.
The press conference was called at AICC headquarter to put a light on the violence of Tripura due to which more than 200 people were injured, 4 died and around 150 property losses were reported at the major level since May 23rd.
