AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 25 (TIWN): Without any evidence of flaw in works, Tripura Govt has removed many honest officials from the existing positions including the Chief Secretary of Tripura L K Gupta.

 There is absolutely no reason for his removal from the Chief Secretary position before tenure ends, neither L K Gupta was found in any corruption.

However, the officials who didn’t entertain BJP’s illegal election manipulation have been punished highest.

Dhalai DM Vikas Singh was also transferred to the Rural Development Dept.

At the same time, Rajiv Singh like IPS officers who was not only removed by EC from Law and Order but he is already under CBI scanner in banking scam has got back his previous position. Singh was also famous in buttering in former CM Manik Sarkar's time. 

This transfer order has created turmoil in the administration and particularly Biplab has done this to create a panic environment among the Govt officials.

However, this transfers are expected as the CM already declared indirectly that those who worked against his party, will be taught.

Principal  Secretary Manoj Kumar (MT:1990) will be the new Chief Secretary of Tripura. Manoj Kumar right now is the Principal Secretary of Finance,  and  Power department.

Dr. Debasish Basu, lAS, Secretary, Govt. of Tripura, Food, Civil Supplies & CA and Education (YAS) Departments with additional charge of Director, SIPARD was relieved from the Additional charge of Director, SIPARD.
