AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): As soon as the election is ended, Chief Secretary L K Gupta has been replaced from his position as Chief Secretary and shifted in SIPARD. At the same time, Dhalai DM Vikash Singh who performed neutral duty in election and was also appreciated by Election Commission of India (ECI) was transferred to the Rural Dept as the Principal Secretary.

At the same time, EC led relieved officials as Additiona DGP Rajiv Singh, West DM Sandeep Mahatme got back previous positions in Law and Order, DM-West respectedly.

However, this transfers are expected as the CM already declared indirectly that those who worked against his party, will be taught.

Principal  Secretary Manoj Kumar (MT:1990) will be the new Chief Secretary of Tripura. Manoj Kumar right now is the Principal Secretary of Finance,  and  Power department.

Dr. Debasish Basu, lAS, Secretary, Govt. of Tripura, Food, Civil Supplies & CA and Education (YAS) Departments with additional charge of Director, SIPARD was relieved from the Additional charge of Director, SIPARD.
