AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 14 (TIWN): The much awaited Railway project for a section of people in Tripura, has allegedly been delayed.
On yesterday, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Riva Ganguli Das who visited Tripura and met Chief Minister Biplab Deb could not answer media when this international project will get momentum whereas earlier it was said within 2018-December the project will be started, a local newspaper has reported at there.
She said, it may take certain time. However, report says, maximum Tripura people have no problem with this delay as right now, neither youths have interest about it as Tripura is right now suffering from excessive unemployment problems and unemployed job aspirants becoming overage due to a long pause in recruitment.
The project of Indo-Bangla railway was started by the then Manik Sarkar Government.
