AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): Royal Scion Pradyot Manikya, who is also the Editor of "The Northeast Today" has slammed TRP based news of BJP paid media houses which are day night scrolling “BREAKING NEWS” against opposition leaders without doing proper homework. The statement came from Pradyot Manikya after few media houses in last few days have attacked his family at persona level without knowing ground-reason.

Soon after Congress President Pradyot Manikya met Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday to handover a letter of the Queen of Tripura, who is also his (Pradyot Manikya) mother Rajmata Bibhu Kumari Devi which refers the all details about agreement between Government and Royal family including power billing issue, but a TV channel had given an immediate scroll, "A secret meeting between Biplab Deb and Pradyot Manikya is going on”.

Pradyot Manikya asked, why those channels do not ask the ruling politicians any question ?

Pradyot Manikya further blasted media persons present at there (in Congress State HQ) that maximum journalists in Tripura do not have ethics of journalism whereas counted people are still here in Tripura who do not run after advertisements and money.

He said, journalists have forgotten their actual job and thus without homework they attack an individual, just like they published  the news on pending power bill at the Ujjayanta Palace and the meeting between CM and him.

Pradyot Manikya also warned, such personal attacking news also can cause defamation case against the media owner.
