AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Students of Tripura Central University today came in massive protest demanding safety of the students and staffs of the University.

The road blockade was held after a staff of University hostel died in road mishap, which led a massive jam on the national highway.

The agitated students have demanded the following :

1. Launching of traffic system for 24 hours,
2. Flyover foot bridge,
3. Speed breaker,
4. Speed limit,
5. Close circuit camera installation,
6. Signboard, Zebra Crossing
7. Financial help to the deceased family,
8. Helmet on each person’s head,
9. Installation of CCTV camera in the main gate of University.
