AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 26 (TIWN): With an unexpected criminality under the ruling BJP, at least 197 cameras were damaged aimed to stop webcasting across East Tripura.
After the revelation, East Tripura RO (Dhalai DM) Vikash Singh has spent all night to restore the cameras and the work hasn’t completed till now (5.30 am).
Total 197 cameras in 359 booths were found disable under the direct involvement of Dilip Dam, Area Manager of “Pho-Com-Net Pvt Ltd” and its owner Dipak Biswas.
Dhalai DM has issued notice both Dilip Dam and Dipak Biswas.
Former deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi has been appointed as special observer for Tripura. His appointment has been assumed as benefit to the voters in Tripura against the ongoing rigging and booth capturing trend.
