KAMALPUR, Oct 14, (TIWN) : A serious street accident occurred around 2.20 pm when an auto and goods carrier Bolero Max Pick Up van collided head on near the Manikbhander market. Immediately the driver of the Bolero escaped and two injured passengers of the Auto shifted to Kamalpur BSM Hospital. Then one seriously injured was shifted to GBP Hospital. Police seized both the vehicles.
According to police and local people, an auto bearing no.TR-04-3222 was heading towards Kamalpur from Ambassa. When the auto reached at the southern part of Manikbhander bazaar, then the Bolero bearing no. TR-04-A-1629 approached with great speed and collided head on with the auto. Two passengers of the auto namely Samir Debbarma(40) and his wife Margaret Debbarma(35) received serious injuries and shifted to Kamalpur BSM Hospital. Then Margaret was shifted to GBP Hospital as the doctors thought that, she might break her leg. Police seized both the vehicles and registered a case. However, the driver of the Bolero escaped.
