AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): BJP goons have beaten a teacher at Udaipur after he cast vote on 11th April at the West Tripura constituency.
The injured teacher Pradip Ghosh is now admitted in Gomati District Hospital.
According to information, before the West Tripura poll, BJP goons had threatened Pradip Ghosh not to cast vote. He is among the terminated 10323 teachers, but overcoming all fears Ghosh had casted his vote for the West Tripura constituency.
On Sunday BJP goons led by Goutam Nandi, Partha Bhowmik Ganesh Sarkar, Kanu Sarkar, Biswajit Sarkar and others held brutal attack upon him.
The attack took place Ghosh’s own house and his family members immediately took him to Gomati District hospital.
Police yet have not taken action against the BJP miscreants.
