AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Allegation raised by media that Health Minister Sudip Barman who gave up his escorts in demand of doctors’ security, before 11 days, has not received his escorts back even though the demands of health dept and ongoing problems have been resolved.

Sudip Barman on April 13 gave up his escorts protesting against increasing attacks on doctors and seeking securities for them followed by brutal attack on IGM Doctor Dr. Dipankar Debnath.

Via a letter, Sudip Barman complained about this issue to Chief Minister Biplab Deb, but after getting the letter immediately, Biplab Deb ordered DGP to remove his security.

After that doctors’ problems were also solved in time and the ongoing strike of the doctors were ended. But till now, securities of the Minister have not given back.
