AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Tripura Human Rights Organization President Gyanananda Roy has breathed his last at 86.
On 21st April, he passed away at IGM hospital. He was 86 years old, honest person and asset to the state.
Even though he was 86 years old but he had been working as a full energetic person but suddenly he became sick on the 2nd month of April.
After many tests at last in TMC, doctors found tumor in his body. On n16th April he was admitted in TMC and kept in the ICU but doctors could not save him at last.
Gyanananda Roy also struggled as teachers-union founder and strived a lot for demands fulfilment of the teachers.
He was a humanist, also a communist.
