Export and import halt for 3 hours

AGARTALA, October 13 (TIWN): The export and import between India and Bangladesh came to an halt at Akhaura Check Post, here on Monday.
It was reported that the halt was caused due to a truck which was having some engine problem at NarayanPur area. Due to the problem of the truck, the road was jammed and no vehicles were able to cross the area which caused the halt. The halt started at 9 am and the halt was finished at 12 pm.
While speaking to TIWN, a truck driver namely Saddam Hussian (28) said that for the last 3 months the condition of the road is getting worse day by day. After rain the condition becomes more worse, he added.
