AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): With a deadly poll-environment in Tripura, house to house murder-threat notices have been pasted along with a cut chicken’s head. The incident has taken place at Khowai.

The notices say, “If you go for vote casting, you condition will be like that”. It happened in Khowai, Jambura village and many other places.

The senders name was written as “Death”.

Last time, on April 11 Tripura’s poll went under massive rigging, CCTV, videography all were stopped and planwise all securities were removed and a direct nexus of Sriram Tarnikanti, the CEO and DGP A K Sukla was alleged by opposition. So far, CEO ha not given any green signal on re-polling in Tripura and shamelessly law and order situation has been given to BJP hooligans.

Tension has erupted in Khowai. Police didn’t start any investigation yet.

On poll hours, West MP candidate of BJP Pratima Bhowmik gave life-threats to IPS officer Kiran Kumar and the video went viral, but Election Commission has not taken any action, rather Pratima Bhowmik is doing still various campaigning.
