AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): East Tripura MP candidate, MP Jitendra Chaudhury on Saturday has written letters to RO and Police Observer to prevent poll rigging in the East Tripura election on April 18.
The letters were served followed by massive poll rigging on April 11 during West Tripura constituency’s voting.
The MP in letter to the RO and Police Observer complained that just like West Tripura in case of East Tripura also, the BJP hooligans have started to threatening opposition voters not to cast votes.
Jitendra Chaudhury has sought remedy of it.
Jitendra Choudhury is a member of the Communist Party of India and has won the Indian general elections, 2014 from the Tripura East. At the 22nd Communist Party Congress in 2018, he was elected as a member of the central committee. He is current president of GMP, the tribal wing of the party.
