AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): CPI-M will organized massive protest today at 3.30 pm against the open poll-rigging, booth capturing of various areas.

The protest will be conducted from Melarmath party office and CPI-M has urged common men to join the protest.

Lakhs of voters could not cast their votes on yesterday, many cried in insults and many had to press on lotus by force. After few hours of the booth capturing, no opposition was present inside the polling stations and at least 464 booths were totally captured.

The level of election rigging was beyond imagination and it happened only because the CEO of Tripura, Sriram Taranikanti had permitted to happen so. At the same time DGP A K Sukla has also equally responsible who worked as a “puppet” of Chief Minister Biplab Deb and BJP’s criminal candidate Pratima Bhowmik.
